Quite a few years ago we were working on an export and gathering bucks. We picked up twins that had different sires. A buck got loose and DNA proved the sires of each kid. I joked for years that this was going to be my new breeding program. The more I thought about how different those bucks were, the more it made sense to me. It's like using IVF without all the expense. A buck gives you kids from many different does. Does are a much slower process being stuck using one buck a year. Using more than one buck speeds up the diversity and pinpoints the better crosses. I've tried it several times and love the results so I've embraced this new Double Dipping breeding program! We will often breed the does to two or more sires. All those kids will be DNA typed to determine sires.

Phergie has her mother's elegance and then some. She is long and level with strong feet and legs. She freshened with a very well attached udder with her dam's perfect teat placement. At her first show as a kid, she was Grand Champion and at her first show as a milking doe she finished her championship going two times Grand Champion. We were really looking forward to taking her to Nationals in 2022 but unfortunately, she aborted and did not come into milk. It did make a perfect opportunity to be flushed for export or domestic embryos and does have a few available through Smart Reproduction. The spring of 2024 was horribly wet and we couldn't keep the pens dry, She got a bad dose of mastitis and her udder was ruined. We gave her to a new herd for a return doe bred to a Pheya son out of Mr Martin. She will stay here until we get a doe from that breeding.

When Tilly gave birth to quads again as a 10 year old, they took my breath away as each of them were born, all very different and all beautiful. Lois was third and after two jet black kids, a marbled brown was another shock. She has a longer bone pattern then her sisters and is more like her dam Tilly. She took my breath away again when she freshened. She has such a beautiful udder with a high, wide rear, smooth fore and perfect teat placement. She has matured so beautifully and is a dream to milk. I milk from the rear and I revel in the site of her ever milking! She is one of the most correct does I have ever bred. Bred to Logan and due mid April. All does will be retained. Bucks $800.

Pheya is the only kid we kept in 2022 and to say I'm excited about this doe is an understatement. She freshened with a beautiful udder and lots of milk. She milked 8.0 on her first milk test, as a yearling which is great since the Bourbon daughters did not milk. If you didn't know any better, you would think she is a clone to Phergie and her daughter, Phinesse! She is a long, tall, correct, powerhouse of a doe that definitely has the will to milk. She just needs to stop having single bucks! She picked up her first leg as a two year old at the York Interstate Fair, going Grand Champion, Best of Breed and Best in Show and finished at her second show making her a 5th generation Grand Champion. Another doe I just love milking and look forward to seeing that beautiful udder every day! Pheya was bred to Logan and kidded the beginning of April. One buck available, $800.

When Phailene was born, that blonde baby had to go to my addiction partner, Thiry, of Dancers Ridge. Thiry so dearly loves those blondes! When she heard I lost Phlavia, she offered her back to me and I jumped at the chance. Pheya is one of my all time favorites and to have her sister and another Huckleberry daughter back in the herd, was too much of a temptation! We are working on evening out her udder to be able to get her out to a show or two this year. Pictures to come this summer. Nothing available.

Pharina is a big growthy yearling that gets better and better as she is maturing. We loved her as a kid so much, we had planned on breeding her dam to Mr B but decided to double dip and repeat this breeding. We ended up with another beautiful full sister, only this one is a blonde! Phaarina is bred to Logan and due the end of April. Doe kids $700, bucks $500.
